On completion of the course, students are expected to be able to
- identify and apply the basic elements of academic reading, writing and speaking
- critically evaluate sources, and use them in their own writing / speaking
- express their own argumentation clearly and logically
- communicate clearly and logically about their own field
- work cooperatively contributing to the completion of tasks
- continue developing their English language and communication skills independently

Monenlaisten oppijoiden ryhmä on suunnattu opiskelijoille, jotka jännittävät esimerkiksi esiintymistä tai sosiaalisia tilanteita niin voimakkaasti, että se häiritsee jokapäiväistä elämää. Ryhmään voivat hakeutua myös opiskelijat, joilla on oppimisvaikeuksia.
