The student will experience a research conference and will learn to pick out the most important or interesting content in the lecture diary.

Participation in a Hegel-society conference for 12 hours; for example 6 of the plenary talks (each one hour) and 12 talks in parallel sessions (each 30 mins). The student writes a 6 page lecture diary with the structure: one paragraph on what was said in the lecture, and a paragraph on own commentary (may be based on a question asked from the audience after the talk).

The oral lectures plus possible handouts; powerpoints will not be made automatically available (but lecturers are typically happy to send them upon request).

Students are requested to be prepared to volunteer to help the conference organizers (many of whom are not local) with practicalities (where to find a janitor etc).
