After the seminar, the student is able to perform systematic information retrieval on specific research topics. The student is able to deliver scientific presentations and to communicate scientific results to a broad audience. He /she is also able to participate in scientific discussion.

The seminars are organized throughout the academic year. Students may join the course at their convenience, preferably prior to the start of their own thesis work. No enrollment is required. Participation in a minimum of eight seminar sessions is required.
Advanced information searching (organized by the library) is also a part of this course.
