Learning outcomes

The course provides deep understanding for the students of the Finnish Daycare and Comprehensive School as constantly developing educational institutions as well as the current research themes in the area.

General description

Content: The course focuses on institutional and developmental perspectives on how early childhood education and basic education are organized in the Finnish educational system. During the course, students get familiar with the Finnish education system and EDU’s current research on the topic, which is presented by various researchers and lecturers.

Modes of Study: lectures, discussions, reflective learning diary
