Students will be familiar with their own and different culture(s), encounter similar/or different changes in education and training systems, and explore dilemmas in and solutions for improving the quality at different levels (stages) of education and training/ teaching and learning/ life-course.
Content: The course focuses on underlying cultural, societal and economic factors behind practices of quality enhancement in education, training, and learning. During the course, we will scrutinize similar/or different changes in education and training system, teaching and learning model, qualifications framework, competency-based education policy, by highlighting key actors related as well as important factors to affect the relation.
Modes of Study: lecture, discussion and presentation
Enrolment in Nettiopsu by 22nd of February.
Study Material/Literature: Selected books and articles on quality improvement in education and training/ teaching and learning studies. Articles will be given to the students in the beginning of the course.
