Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student will understand:
• Variation and the rationale explaining differences in media organisations
• General requirements and expectations of managers across levels
• How development objectives are achieved in media firms
• Complexity of managing a community of employees in work cultures
General description
Prof. Lowe will arrange visits to at least two media firms in Finland. The hopeful dates will be Wednesday February 19 and Wednesday April 9. It's possible both visitations will be in Helsinki. Information to be confirmed.
