Having completed the course unit, the student knows the most important theories of European integration and is able to apply them in particular to the analysis of the external relations of the European Union. The student will have the capacity to analyse the role of the EU in different geographical contexts and to understand the role of regional cooperation in the EU's neighbourhood.
