Learning outcomes
In this course we collaboratively develop some diagnostic and practical skills to craft scholarly text and identity.
General description
In this course, we understand doctoral article writing as text work, identity work and social practice to produce authoritative writing and an authoritative scholar after Barbara Kamler and Pat Thomson’s work. We focus on writing literature reviews, abstracts and introductions to journal articles. We understand these texts as situated within the institution and politics of the academy.
