Learning outcomes

The students will gain understanding on the impacts of increasing transnational mobility to education and on the emerging transnational spaces of learning.

General description

Type or level of studies: Intermediate/Advanced studies

Content: The course focuses on educational studies with transnational perspectives exploring interconnections between education, international migration, and transnational ties of migrants. During the course, the students will examine previous studies concerning transnational learning, internationalization of education, student mobilities, and cross-border learning environments.

Modes of Study: Lectures, an individual or pair presentation of an article, and a learning diary (for students at intermediate level) or an essay (for students at advanced level).
