On completion of the course, students are expected to be able to:

• prepare and deliver a discipline-specific, academic presentation that follows accepted norms and good academic practice
• write an abstract
• find and use resources to facilitate and support the above
• present information clearly and convincingly
• communicate with confidence within both academic and workplace contexts
• work effectively in groups, negotiating and contributing to the completion of the tasks

This course is maily meant for students working on their Bachelor's Thesis (kandidaatintutkielma).
