Advanced Studies in Philosophy, 80 ECTS

Learning outcomes

After completing advanced studies in philosophy students have deepened their understanding of one particular field in philosophy. They are able to analyze and critically evaluate philosophical views and arguments, present arguments of their own, and write philosophical studies.

Content

The student deepens the knowledge of two or more subfields of philosophy and prepares a master's thesis on a topic that belongs to one of those subfields. The student agrees on the topic with a teacher. The student participates in seminars and practices philosophical argumentation and writing under a teacher’s supervision.
