Learning outcomes

Familiarisation with communication studies and theatre studies as social activity and scientific practice both in Finland and abroad; developing as a scientific expert.

Content

The studies can be completed, for example, by giving a presentation in an international conference, participating in the organisation of a conference, attending a summer school in Finland or abroad, taking postgraduate studies abroad or learning about publishing by serving as part of the editorial staff of a scientific journal. Other ways to complete the studies include participating in teaching, curriculum work, developing the education or applying for project funding in connection with one’s own field of research. The studies can also be completed by studies in university pedagogy or scientific communication, positions of trust in the University as well as tasks that develop working life skills (such as project management, responsible tasks related to research projects and other tasks with a comparable level of difficulty). Other completion methods are also possible, such as studies in other subjects. The studies involving internationalisation and networking are agreed upon with the supervisor.
