Advanced Studies (including MA Dissertation Studies), 60–80 ECTS

Learning outcomes

After completing Advanced Studies, the student should have an in-depth knowledge of particular areas of English Philology, the theoretical and methodological skills required for conducting research, the ability to conduct research indpendently, and an excellent command of English.

Evaluation

Numeric 1-5.

For an overall grade of 3, 4 or 5 the student must have, in addition to a sufficiently high overall average, a valid grade (not more than 5 years old) in the Language Skills Test (see EngfS0).
The thesis is separately assessed, and the grade for the thesis is not used in calculating the overall average.

Further information

Successful progress at the Advanced Studies level presupposes an overall grade of at least 3 at the Intermediate Studies level.
