Learning outcomes

On this study module students will learn the foundations of the political and economic system of the EU. After the module, students will appreciate strategic conceptual and operational issues underpinning the EU’s institutional, legal, financial, political and economic structures.

Content

This study module introduces students to the structures, political institutions and decision-making logic, EU law and financial management and public finance.

The study module is produced in cooperation with Public Law, International Relations, Politics, Economics and Public Financial Management, the last of which coordinates the module.

Note: Students of Economics can take this module and get the needed field course in Economics (5 ECTS) if they include the course 'EU Public Finance' in this module.
