Learning outcomes

The aim of the study module is to equip students for independently conducting a small-scale statistical study with all the relevant stages. The ability to identify problems and an understanding of the logic of basic statistical methods is then essential. The student will be initiated into collecting and processing empirical data and reporting results in a written format. The courses of basic studies also prepare students for completing the intermediate studies. Because of this, it is advisable to achieve an overall grade of Good or higher for the basic studies.
