Basic Studies, 25 op

Learning outcomes

After completing the Basic Studies of the Russian Studies Programme, the student has a basic knowledge of Russian history, culture and society as well as basic language skills.

Content

The basic studies consist of 25 credits. RSTP0 Introduction to Russian Studies is compulsory for everyone. Those students who have no previous knowledge of Russian language should take the language course. Students can choose freely the rest of the courses as long as there is at least one course passed in each of the modules (RSTP2 History, RSTP3 Culture and Literature, RSTP4 Society and Politics).

Evaluation

Numeric 1-5.

The overall grade is worked out by averaging the course grades and rounding the average up or down to the nearest whole number.
