Learning outcomes

After the successful completion of the master thesis studies, the student will be able to assess the scientific rigor of reported research results, to appraise scientific evidence on public or international health questions and to plan, analyse and report a piece of scientific empirical research himself/herself.

After the successful completion of the thesis seminar the student:
- will have an understanding of the common research practices in public and international health and will be able to apply them in writing his/her study plan and Master’s thesis
-will be able to provide constructive comments on the scientific work of fellow students and can utilize feedback given by others
-will be able to orally present his/her scientific work
