Students will learn different essential perspectives on human resources management (HR) and to analyse the meanings employees attribute to the organisation and work communities.
Content
After completing the course the student will understand: • The basis and key dimensions of analysis for HR management • Strategic thinking and networking as the foundation for HR direction and development • Leadership and leadership styles • Leadership skills and their relationships to other managerial skills • Issues related to empowerment, trust, innovation, qualifications, commitment, and motivation • Work community and culture development • Diversity and change management in contemporary HR management • HR tools for employee evaluation
