Learning outcomes

The goal of the course is to give students a deep understanding of the basis of human communication and the meaning of emotions both for individuals and the interaction between individuals. The course introduces visions on how human–technology interaction could be developed in the future.

Contents

The course consists of a series of lectures and discussions about nonverbal communication, the neural and biological basis of communication and emotions, interconnections between emotions and cognition and motivation, and human–computer interaction.

Modes of study

Written examination on lectures and literature. Foreign student can take this course by literature examination. The literature will be informed separately for students who have registered themselves in time to the course.
