Beginners' Russian Course II or equivalent skills. A1 language proficiency level, approximately 90-100 hours (or about a year) of previous studies. Students possess the basic knowledge of the Russian culture of customs and addressing others and they are able to introduce themselves and exchange news with routine sentences. When travelling, they are able to order food in a restaurant and buy souvenirs at a shop. They are also able to ask for directions and the appropriate vehicle.
After successful completion of this course, students will - be able to exchange greetings and information on ordinary events, if aided by the opposing party - be able to clarify times and places and express reactions to people or things.
