Students learn details on the dialects of the Swedish language.

Contents

Knowledge of the Swedish dialects and their linguistic historical development.

Teaching methods

Lecture or reading course. The credit can be completed in two ways: either by attending the lectures and the course exam, or by reading the literature and coming to the written exam on one of the general examination days. In the latter case, the credit is completed together with history of language (POHKS1a) and onomastics (POHKS1c).

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Numeric 1-5.
Active class participation and written exam.
