KKVE1A1 BEGINNERS' RUSSIAN COURSE I 3 ECTS

Preceding studies
For students who have not previously studied Russian.The classes start with the alphabet. Students who have studied Russian before should not sign up for this course.

Learning outcomes

After successful completion of this course, students will
- recognise the Cyrillic alphabet and be able to produce most of it and the Russian phonemes
- be able to greet, introduce themselves, apologise, thank and ask about news and locations in a simple manner.

Contents

Language learning will be realised through simple question-and-answer type language use situations, which will be varied by working in pairs. Topics include: introductions, occupation, language skills, home, family and travel.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Numeric 1-5.
Regular and active participation, written and oral examination. The grade is based on the exams and active participation. Grades from oral and written parts weigh the same.
