Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course students will be able to understand and use Finnish expressions that concern common matters and situations related to everyday life (making an appointment, arranging to meet somebody, comparison). They will also be able to describe some of the most important things about themselves, their families, surroundings, studies, work, hobbies and other similar topics, and to understand descriptions given of such issues. In addition students will be able to give accounts of imaginary matters and situations, and to understand corresponding accounts.
