General description

Note! This course is compulsory for all students in the MHS programme since June 2011. The aim of the course is to familiarize the student with theoretical premises, principles and methods of qualitative research in health.

The aim of the course is to familiarize the student with theoretical premises, principles and methods of qualitative research in health.

Contents

Introduction to qualitative research process, different types of data gathering methods and analytical perspectives in the field of public health.

Attendance is for students of Master of Health Science (Public Health & International Health). Students have to register for the course on the internet at http://www.uta.fi/nettiopsu/. Deadline for the registration is two weeks before the course starts.
