Learning outcomes
After completing this study module, students
- can express themselves clearly and in a manner appropriate to the situation - can discuss and negotiate different matters while taking other participants into account - can hold a prepared presentation on a topic related to their own field - can understand others' presentations and be able to ask questions and give feedback - can tell about themselves and their studies - can discuss issues related to their own field of study - can use expressions required by different situations (e.g. negotiations, debates, interviews) - are familiar with the general characteristics and the cultural norms of a good presentation - can understand the importance of oral communication in intercultural communication.
