SPOPP4 Social Policy in Other Countries 4 ECTS

Learning outcomes

To become familiar with the international activity environment of social policy and in particular the effects of the expansion of the European Union, general internationalisation, economy, politics and cultural globalisation, and to become acquainted with the new challenges of social policy. The objective is also for students to 1) gain the basic information on the social policy of the European Union, 2) learn how to recognise social problems in global settings, 3) learn to compare different social political models and 4) learn the basic concepts of social policy in English.

Modes of study

Literature examination on a general examination day, or compensatory teaching.
