Learning outcomes

To provide comprehensive practical experience of applying research methods in English philology and producing academic writing.

Contents

Students are encouraged to research a topic of their own choosing, but should have it approved by their supervisor(s).
The length of the thesis should be around 20,000 words (60-80 pages).

An alternative for students participating in the Technical Communication programme is to do their MA dissertation studies in that subject.
