Learning outcomes

To introduce students to the requirements of professional translating.

Contents

Basic course on professional translating from Russian into Finnish (native language). Translating general-language presentations, brochures, articles, messages, news and interviews. Writing translation commentaries. Developing information retrieval and problem solving skills. Translation assessment.
