General description

Quantitative and qualitative research data collection and analysis.

The course is offered at the Beijing Normal University.

Learning outcomes

Students should be able to
- design and develop measurement instrument and interview guidelines
- choose appropriate research design according to research questions
- understand both qualitative and quantitative data collection procedures
- process and analyse qualitative and quantitative data
- write a research report
- use suitable computer software to assist data analysis
