The aim of the Internship is to give students the opportunity to develop and apply the knowledge gained during their studies in working life. Students will connect their conceptual knowledge with workplace realities in relevant social policy professions.
Contents
Student completes his/her internship in the work organisation of his/her choice. The organisation appoints a tutor for the student. Together with the tutor, the student prepares an intership plan, in which they agree on the tasks and on the student’s personal objectives set for the internship.
Before the practical training, students participate in pre-sessions organized by the university. After the practical training students take part in a feedback session, in which the training report of the student will be discussed. In the report the student evaluates his/her success in achieving the set objectives and assesses the implementation of the social policy function of the organization based on some reading of the relevant secondary literature. The training report must fulfill the standards of academic writing.
