Learning outcomes

To give basic information about local public law and legal principles of municipal activity.

Local Public Law as a subject. Judicial basis and contents of local self-government. Legal principles of municipal activity. Municipal mandate and tasks. Municipal finance. Relationship between municipality and the state. Status and rights of inhabitant of a municipality. Status of the elected officials. Municipals organs and division of competence. Legal protection in the local government.
