Learning outcomes

To provide theoretical and conceptual tools as well as methods in comparing welfare states and social policy systems in post-industrial countries. The module sheds light on different comparative approaches used in current welfare state research.

Contents

Different approaches to comparative welfare state studies covering a wide range of social policy systems; theoretical and empirical modeling of welfare states.

Modes of study

Written exam on the faculty examination day, or essay, or compensatory courses.
