Learning outcomes

The course aims at delivering an intuitive understanding of the fundamentals and thus the power and limitations of various methods like Artificial Neural Network. SOM, genetic and evolutionary algorithms, simulated annealing.

Contents

Common algorithmic and AI methods used in data analysis in many fields of research, including but not restricted to bio and medical informatics. Different data analysis methods and applications are included.
