Learning outcomes

To become familiar with the basics of theory and to acquire the ability to analyse linguistic expressions by using sociolinguistic methods.

Contents

An introduction to empirical German sociolinguistics and its development; observing different linguistic variants.

Modes of study

Alternatively independent studying and a book exam.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Evaluation by homework and summary or by written exam.
