Learning outcomes

The main methods and theories of computer graphics are introduced. The aim is to gain a profound understanding of the basics of computer graphics.

Contents

The course is mainly based on modern 3D picture processing. Representation, modelling and rendering of 3D objects, image spaces, shading, modelling of the interplay of light and object, mapping techniques such as textures, shadow algorithms, global illumination, anti-aliasing, colours and computer animation are also described.
