On completion of the course - student will have a deeper in-sight into a specific thematic area of Social Sciences - student has gained an ability to interpret various phenomena from a global perspective - student is familiar with other disciplinary approaches of the Global Society framework.

Students must select courses worth 10 ECTS from the following Master's degree programmes operating within the Global Society framework: - Master's Degree Programme in Peace, Mediation and Conflict Research - Master's Degree Programme in Comparative Social Policy and Welfare - Master's Degree Programme in Global and Transnational Sociology - Master's Degree Programme in Public Choice - Master's Degree Programme in Gender Studies - or courses jointly organized by these programmes
Students of each of the above mentioned programmes must select courses from the other programmes within the framework, they cannot include courses from their own degree programme to this study module.
The Master's Degree Programme in Public and Global Health is also cooperating with the programmes of the Global Society framework and it is possible for the students of the programmes listed above to participate in some of its courses and to include them in this study module. Vice versa, the students of public and global health may also include courses from the Global Society framework into their elective studies.
