Preceding studies
The minimum prerequisite is A1 level skills from comprehensive school or B3 level skills from upper secondary school. Preferably the studies of A1 or B1 language from upper secondary school. (B1 level of language competence) Any lower starting level requires hard work.

General description

The grammar part is intended for students whose language skills need improving for their faculty study modules and other studies.

Learning outcomes

After completing this study module, students will
- master the main points of upper secondary level grammar (verbs in particular)
- produce better text than before
- be aware of idiomatic English
- be more interested in studying the structures of English

Contents

Revising the main points of upper secondary level grammar (further discussion: passive, abbreviations, foreign plurals). Option for applying knowledge by writing short papers. Grammar, written and oral exercises, complementary distance studies and independent studying.
