The successful completion of this course provides a basic understanding of Russian political institutions and the Russian state. It also provides an insight into the Russian foreign policy, including Russian's relations with Europe, and Russia's role in the contemporary international politics. This course develops the prerequisites for deepening the understanding on specific areas of Russian politics and political economy.
