Compulsory:

Learning outcomes

Learning to build protein models based on known structures of homologous proteins. The course aims at practical skills in the use of modelling software and automated modelling servers. Evaluation of models. Advanced protein visualization.

Contents

The emphasis is on evaluating, interpreting and visualizing protein models. Hands-on experience in building homology-based models with the software package Discovery Studio is used for understanding the principles of automated modelling software.
