Learning outcomes

To become familiar with the principles of an academic final project through practical work.

Contents

The thesis should be approximately 15-20 pages in length and it should be based on the student's independent work.

Modes of study

The thesis is written during the seminar and handed over at the end of it. It can be revised according to critique from the other seminar participants. In a maturity test, the student answers in Finnish one of three questions concerning the contents of the thesis, put together by the teacher.

Evaluation and evaluation criteria

Pass/fail.
Evaluation by thesis. Not following given instructions may be grounds for failure.
