Learning outcomes

The objective is to introduce the main theories, concepts and interpretation models with the help of which interactive media can be analysed and comprehended.

Contents

The main aspects to be addressed are the interactivity of hypertext and hypermedia in an artistic and cultural sense, communicative and organisational interactivity and their wider connections to the construction of identity and meaning.

Modes of study

The course, which is offered in the form of lectures, is to be completed by keeping a lecture diary and writing essays on subjects to be set in advance. Alternatively these studies may be taken by doing examinations on set books. The mode of completion will be further specified annually in the teaching programme.
