SOSPS3A Advanced Research Method Studies 7 ECTS

Learning outcomes

Students deepen their skills of empirical social research methods and become familiar with the theoretic-methodological background commitments of different research organisations. Students select advanced studies of research methods primarily to support their Master's thesis, but also to strengthen their general knowledge of different methods.

Teaching methods

Students can get a literature list which is applicable to different research orientations from a research method lecturer or from their Master's thesis instructor. The literature will be tested through literature examinations on general examination days or through essays. Also available separate courses or online studies are applicable. Performances must be negotiated beforehand with the thesis instructor.
