Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to improve personal skills in speech communication, especially in public speaking situations. Theoretical framework and basic concepts, as well as awareness and ability to analyse and evaluate factors present in different communication contexts, form the basis for developing personal communication skills.

Contents

The topics of exercises and class discussion on the course will be among other things: the disposition of messages, non verbal communication, listening skills, communication apprehension (stage fright), and preparing the presentation.
