KKRA1A1 BEGINNERS' FRENCH COURSE I 3 ECTS

For students who have not previously studied French.

Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students will
- be able to pronounce French
- be able to read and spell correctly the most common orthographic marks of the French language
- be familiar with articles and the present tense of verbs
- be able to form simple sentences (including questions and negative sentences)

Contents

Grammar will be taught from the course book and from handouts. There will be exercises on oral expression and conversations, and exercises to improve pronunciation, speech and listening comprehension. The French lifestyle and culture will be introduced as well.

The grade is based on active participation and on the average grade between an oral and a written exam.
