Learning outcomes

Students write a Master's thesis to prove their intimate knowledge of their chosen subject and the necessary research methods, and their skills and qualifications for academic presentation and good literary expression. In addition, students take a maturity test related to the thesis, if they have not already completed it in connection with the Bachelor's thesis.

It is recommended that also students who have started their studies in 2004 or before (i.e. those who study in accordance with the old degree system) participate in the studies supporting the writing of a Master's thesis. They will receive 20 old credit units for their Master's thesis, once it is finished and the performance accepted.
