Learning outcomes

Once students have completed the course, they will be familiar with the phases of historical development of the Russian lexicon and be able to apply the principles of semantic analysis. Students will also recognise the characteristics of the modern Russian lexicon and understand how the lexicon develops.

Contents

Lectures and exercises in modern Russian lexicology, lexicography and semantics.
