General description

A preparatory course to help students achieve the level of skills required by the Swedish courses of different faculties. The objective is to improve Swedish grammar and vocabulary in particular.

Learning outcomes

The objective of this course is for students to
- master the vocabulary needed in everyday situations
- understand brief general texts
- be familiar with the basic structures of the Swedish language

Contents

- revision of the basic structures
- revision of the use of dictionaries and other tools
- revision of general terminology
- information retrieval and reading comprehension exercises
- short written assignments alone or in groups
