Seminar series where the students give presentations regarding their Master’s thesis work.

Learning outcomes

Students understand the principles of delivering a scientific presentation according to the standard practices of the field and are able to apply these principles to their own work. Students are able to actively participate in scientific discussion.

Contents

Each student delivers two presentations, first highlighting the plans for their Master’s thesis work and then the results obtained, and actively participates in the scientific discussion.
The library organizes lectures and practical training on acquisition of scientific data.

Teaching methods

The seminars are organized throughout the academic year. Students may join the course at their convenience, preferably prior to the start of their own thesis work. Participation in a minimum of eight seminar sessions is required.
