Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able to produce user-oriented and reusable documentation for different publishing formats using XML/DITA information architecture (with a focus on online instructions). In addition, students are able to describe the importance of metadata in technical documentation and the factors that affect information reuse.
Contents
The course introduces the basics of XML and DITA and the principles of modular writing and single sourcing.
