Learning outcomes

To familiarise students with some conceptual systems and new tools of conceptual modelling developed based on these systems, i.e. concept schema languages and ontologies. These tools are used in solving various problems of conceptual modelling in conjunction with different problems.

Contents

Conceptual theories, ontologies and their applications. Top-ontologies, task ontologies, domain ontologies, application ontologies and their use.
